Deerfoot City is a shopping centre located at 901 64 Ave NE, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This page will cover Building E, which houses several retailers. The building was originally built in 1980 as Deerfoot Mall, and was converted into a standalone building in 2017. The fire alarm system was upgraded as part of the 2017 conversion.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by an Edwards EST3X addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main electrical room. The system runs Edwards’ Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All indoor notification appliances are Edwards “Genesis” G1R-HDVM horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, no marking, set to 15cd).
For outdoor notification, there is an Edwards WG4RF-HVMC weatherproof horn/strobe (red, wall-mount, FIRE marking) outside the main electrical room.

There are Edwards EOL-P1 end of line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
