Dr. George Stanley School is a middle school located at 585 Cranston Drive Southeast, in the Cranston neighborhood of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The school is owned and operated by the Calgary Board of Education. It has a capacity of 900 students, and opened in 2017. The fire alarm system is original.

The building is protected by a Simplex 4100ES addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located at the main entrance. The system runs Simplex’s IDNet addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]
All areas except washrooms have Simplex "TrueAlert ES" 49AV-WRF addressable horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd). The student washrooms have Simplex 49VO-WRF addressable remote strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).

All pull stations are Simplex 4099-9004 addressable single-action pull stations.

There are Simplex "TrueAlarm" 4098-9714 addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the facility, as well as Simplex 4098-9734 IDNet addressable fixed/rate-of-rise heat detectors in some areas.
All detectors are mounted on Simplex 4098-9792 addressable bases.

There are Simplex 4090-9001 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system's tamper and flow switches.
