LOCAL Public Eatery is a restaurant chain owned by JOEY Restaurants. This particular restaurant is located at 1820 99 Street Northwest, in the South Edmonton Common shopping area of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The building opened in 2002 as OPM Asian Bistro, and became LOCAL Public Eatery in approximately 2011. The fire alarm system was upgraded in 2021.

The building was protected by a Mircom FX-2000 addressable fire alarm system. The panel was located in the main entrance vestibule. The system ran Mircom’s CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding was temporal. This panel was replaced in 2021 with a newer Mircom FX-2000.
