Spruce Ridge Estates is an apartment complex owned and operated by Boardwalk. This page will cover Building 9/11, located at 9/11 Hemlock Crescent SW, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The building was built in 1953, and was renovated in 1998. The fire alarm system was upgraded as part of the 1998 renovation, with a panel replacement occurring in the 2010s.

FACP[edit | edit source]
The building is protected by a Mircom FA-1000 conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in the North entrance vestibule of Building 9. The system coding is temporal.
This panel replaced a Notifier System 500.
Annunciators[edit | edit source]
There is a Mircom RAM-1032TZDS annunciator in the north entrance vestibule of Building 11, mounted in a Mircom BB-1001 enclosure.
Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]
All common areas have System Sensor “SpectrAlert” P2415A horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, 15cd).
All suites have Notifier PA400SR-A silenceable mini-horns (red) paired with System Sensor S2415A remote strobes (red, wall-mount, 15cd).

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]
The pull stations are a mix of Notifier MPS-950B and Mircom MS-401 conventional single-action pull stations.

There are System Sensor C2W-BA conventional photoelectric smoke detectors in all corridors and at the top of each stairwell.
There are FDD “ThermoFlex” CR-135 conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise in all under-stair storage rooms.
There are Mircom TD-200 conventional 200°F fixed-temperature heat detectors in the boilerl room.
There is a System Sensor DH100PA conventional photoelectric duct smoke detector on Building 11’s air handling unit.
There is a System Sensor D2A conventional photoelectric smoke detector on Building 9’s air handling unit.
