Cape Cod Hospital is a hospital located at 27 Park Street, in Hyannis, Massachusetts, USA. The hospital was built in 1920, and the fire alarm system was upgraded in 2008.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by an Edwards EST3 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main electrical room. The system runs Edwards’ Signature addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice evacuation. The alarm signal is a 20BPM chime tone, and the horn/strobe coding is temporal.

Annunciators[edit | edit source]

There is an Edwards EST3-LCDANN annunciator at the emergency room ambulance entrance.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

Most common areas have Edwards “Genesis” G4RF-S7VM speaker/strobes (red, wall-mount, FIRE marking, set to 15cd).
Some areas have Edwards GCF-S7VM speaker/strobes (white, ceiling-mount, FIRE marking, 70V, set to 15cd).
Some rooms and smaller areas have Edwards G1RF-VM remote strobes (red, wall-mount, FIRE marking, 70V, set to 15cd) or Edwards GCF-VM remote strobes (white, ceiling-mount, FIRE marking, set to 15cd).
For outdoor notification, there is an Edwards “Integrity” 757-7A-T horn/strobe (red, wall-mount, 15/75cd) outside the main entrance.

All pull stations are EST SIGA-278 addressable dual-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

There are EST SIGA-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the building.
The emergency room has EST SIGA2-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors.
All detectors are mounted on EST SIGA-SB bases.
There are EST “SuperDuct” SIGA-SD addressable photoelectric duct smoke detectors on all air handling units, equipped with EST SIGA-DTS test switches.

Modules[edit | edit source]

There are EST SIGA-CT1 addressable monitor modules supervising the boilers and the sprinkler system’s tamper and flow switches.
There are EST SIGA-CR addressable relay modules controlling HVAC systems throughout the building.
