Courtyard by Marriott is a chain of midrange hotels owned by Marriott International. This particular hotel is located in the Alaska Building. The building was completed in 1904, and was renovated in 2010. Info is scarce, given the age of the building, but the fire alarm system was likely installed in 2010, when the hotel was renovated.

System Specifications[edit | edit source]

FACP[edit | edit source]

The hotel is protected by a Siemens FireFinder XLS addressable fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown. The system runs Siemens' FirePrint addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice evacuation. The system coding is likely a temporal tone followed by the default female message in alarm.

Annunciators[edit | edit source]

There is a Siemens SSD (System Status Display) LCD annunciator behind the front desk.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

Most notification appliances are Siemens SEF-MC-W speaker/strobes (white, wall-mount).
The guest rooms have Siemens SEF-W remote speakers (white, wall-mount).

Initiating Devices[edit | edit source]

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]

All pull stations are Siemens HMS-D addressable dual-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

All common areas of the hotel have Siemens “FirePrint” FP-11 addressable multi sensor smoke/heat detectors.
