The New Brighton Athletic Park is an outdoor athletic facility located at 5801 130 Avenue SE, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The facility is owned and operated by The City of Calgary. This page covers the locker room/maintenance building, which was built in 2014. The fire alarm system is original.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by a Notifier NFS-320C addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the west building mechanical room. The system runs Notifier’s CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All indoor notification appliances are System Sensor “SpectrAlert Advance” P2RA horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).
For outdoor notification, there is a System Sensor P2RKA weatherproof horn/strobe (red, wall-mount) outside the west building mechanical room.

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]

All pull stations are Notifier NBG-12LX addressable dual-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

There are Notifier FSP-851A addressable photoelectric smoke detectors in the data room and janitor closet.
There are Notifier FST-851A addressable 135°F fixed-temperature heat detectors in the mechanical rooms of each building.
All detectors are mounted on System Sensor B210LPA bases.

Modules[edit | edit source]

There are Notifier ISO-XA isolator modules on the SLC.

EOLs[edit | edit source]

There are Notifier EOL-CR end of line resistor plates on all signal circuits.
