System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by a Notifier NFS2-640C addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system runs Notifier’s FlashScan addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Annunciators

There is a Notifier LCD2-80 annunciator in the plant control room of Plant 24.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances are Notifier KMS-10-24A motor bells (10” gong) mounted on Wheelock RSSP-24MCW strobe plates (set to 15cd).

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations are Notifier MPS-950B conventional single-action pull stations. All stations have Notifier FMM-101A addressable monitor modules attached to them.

Automatic Detection Devices

The boiler room has Notifier FST-851A addressable 135°F fixed-temperature heat detectors. The kitchen and janitor closet have Notifier FST-851RA addressable 135°F fixed/rate-of-rise heat detectors. The electrical room and compressor room have Notifier FSP-851A addressable photoelectric smoke detectors. All detectors are mounted on Notifier B710LPA bases. The building is equipped with a sprinkler system.

Modules

There are Notifier FMM-101A addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system’s tamper and flow switches.

EOLs

There are Notifier EOL-CR end-of-line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
