Lakeview Apartments is an apartment complex owned by Boardwalk. This page will cover Building C, located at 5320C Lakeview Dr SW, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The building was built in 1973, and the fire alarm system was upgraded in 2007.

FACP[edit | edit source]
The building is protected by a Mircom FX-2000 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main lobby. The system runs Mircom’s CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
The building had a 120V hardwired system prior to this system’s installation.
Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]
All common areas have Mircom “Select-A-Horn/Strobe” FHS-240R horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to electromechanical/15cd).
Most suites have Mircom MH-S25WA silenceable mini-horns (white).
Some suites have System Sensor “SpectrAlert Advance” MHWZA silenceable mini-horns (white) as deficiency replacements.

All pull stations are Mircom MS-401AD addressable single-action pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]
There are Mircom MIX-2251BA addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout all corridors and in all stairwells.
There are Mircom MIX-5251RBA addressable 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors in all storage, garbage, laundry, boiler and electrical rooms.
All detectors are mounted on System Sensor B210LPA bases.

There is a Mircom MIX-M500MA addressable monitor module supervising the sprinkler system’s flow switch.
There are Mircom CSIS-204A signal isolation modules on all signal circuits.
