Comfort Suites is a chain of all-suite hotels owned by Choice Hotels. The chain is headquartered in Rockville, Maryland, and has locations worldwide. This particular hotel is located at 5457 Kings Center Drive, in Mason, Ohio, USA. The hotel opened in 1997, and was renovated in 2004. The fire alarm system was upgraded in 2018.

The building is protected by a Hochiki FireNet Plus 1127 hybrid-addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located behind the front desk. The addressable portion of this system runs Hochiki’s ESP addressable protocol, and the system coding is likely temporal.
Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]
All original notification appliances are Simplex 4901-9817 remote horns (red, wall-mount) and Simplex 4904-9137 remote strobes (red, wall-mount, 15cd) mounted together on Simplex 4905-9921 plates.
There is a Gentex GX90S-4-15/75WR horn/strobe (red, wall-mount, 15/75cd) in the lounge as a deficiency replacement.

The building was protected by a Silent Knight 5208 conventional fire alarm system. The panel was located behind the front desk. The system coding was likely continuous.
This panel was installed in the 2010s replacing a Simplex 4005.
Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]
All notification appliances were Simplex 4901-9817 remote horns (red, wall-mount) and Simplex 4904-9137 remote strobes (red, wall-mount, 15cd) mounted together on Simplex 4905-9921 plates.
The notification appliances were not replaced during the 2018 system upgrade.
