The Calgary Zoo is a large zoo in Calgary, Alberta. The zoo is owned by the Calgary Zoological Society. This page will cover the African Savanna exhibit, which houses African animals such as elephants, hippos and giraffes. The building was completed in , and received a fire alarm upgrade following the 2013 floods.

The building is protected by a Notifier NFS-320C addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system runs Notifier’s FlashScan addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

All notification appliances are System Sensor “SpectrAlert Advance” P2RA horn/strobes (red, wall-mount).
