The building is protected by a Simplex 4100U addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system runs Simplex’s IDNet addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]
All indoor notification appliances are Simplex “TrueAlert” 4906-9127 horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).
For outdoor notification, there is a Simplex 4906-9105 weatherproof remote strobe (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd) outside the main entrance.

All pull stations are Simplex 4099-9001 addressable single-action pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]
There are Simplex “TrueAlarm” 4098-9714 addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the second floor, at the top of each stairwell, and in all living quarters and offices.
There are Simplex 4098-9733 addressable 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors throughout all other areas.
All detectors are mounted on Simplex 4098-9792 bases.

There are Simplex 4090-9002 addressable relay modules for HVAC shutdown.
There are Simplex 4090-9116 addressable isolator modules on the SLC.
EOLs[edit | edit source]
There are Simplex 2081-9040C end of line resistor plates on all signal circuits.
