Carewest Glenmore Park is a senior living facility located at 6909 14 St SW, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The facility is owned and operated by Alberta Health Services. The building was built in 1963, and the fire alarm system was upgraded in 2012.

FACP

The building is protected by a Siemens Cerberus Pro Modular addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the basement logistics room. The system runs Siemens’ FirePrint addressable protocol, and is configured for two-stage operation. The alert signal coding is 20BPM, and the alarm signal coding is temporal.
This panel is a migrated Siemens FireFinder XLS system, which occurred in 2024.


Annunciators

There are Siemens SSD annunciators at all nurse’s stations.
There is a Siemens SSD-C annunciator with a custom graphic in the main entrance vestibule.


Notification Appliances

All notification appliances are Siemens U-MMT-MCS-B horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, bilingual lettering, set to horn/15cd).


Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations are Siemens HMS-2S addressable two-stage single-action pull stations.


Automatic Detection Devices

There are Siemens HFP-11 addressable multisensor smoke/heat detectors throughout all corridors, in all common areas and in each patient room.
There are Siemens DT-11 addressable heat detectors in areas such as mechanical rooms.
All aforementioned detectors are mounted on Siemens DB-11 bases.
There are Siemens AD2-P duct smoke detector housings equipped with Siemens HFP-11 addressable multisensor heads on all air handling units.
