The Chateau Jasper is a hotel located at 96 Geikie Street, in Jasper, Alberta, Canada. The hotel opened in 1981, and the fire alarm system was partially upgraded in 2018. Most bells and the pull stations are original.

FACP[edit | edit source]
The building is protected by a Notifier NFS2-640C hybrid-addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main lobby. The system runs Notifier’s FlashScan addressable protocol, and the system coding is likely temporal.
This panel was installed in 2018 replacing a Mircom FX-2000, which in turn replaced a Mirtone 7900.
Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]
Most notification appliances are Mirtone 74306 vibrating bells (10” gong).
Some areas have Notifier KMS-10-24A motor bells (10” gong) as deficiency replacements.
There is a Wheelock MB-G10-24 motor bell (10” gong) in the restaurant as a deficiency replacement.

All pull stations are Mirtone 73201 conventional dual-action pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]
There are System Sensor “i3” C2W-BA conventional photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the hotel.
There are Notifier FSP-951A addressable photoelectric smoke detectors in all elevator lobbies, mounted on System Sensor B200SRA sounder bases.
