CrossIron Mills is a large outlet mall located at 261055 Crossiron Boulevard, in Rocky View County, Alberta, Canada. The mall was built in 2009, and the fire alarm system is 95% original, with replacement parts being installed as deficiencies occur.

FACP[edit | edit source]
The building is protected by an Edwards EST3 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the security office, adjacent to the food court. It was installed around 2020, replacing the original EST3. The system runs EST’s Signature addressable protocol, and is configured for two-stage operation. The alert signal coding is 20BPM, followed by temporal in the alarm signal. The general alarm timer length is five minutes.

Main Mall Corridors[edit | edit source]
The corridors of the mall have EST 757-7A-T horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, 15/75cd), along with EST 757-1A-T remote horns (red, wall-mount). They have a mix of LKC-1 ceiling mount lenses and LKW-1 wall-mount lenses. These are ceiling-mounted.

The notification appliances are EST 757-5A-T horn/strobes, along with 757-1A-T horns for additional audible coverage. These are ceiling-mounted.
