The EST3 is a large, addressable, modular and network-capable fire alarm control panel made by EST. It is the most common panel for large applications in Calgary. It has a capacity for up to 2500 points per panel, and can be networked up to 64 nodes, making it capable of having a total of 160,000 points. The panel can also be manufactured for two-stage systems, and for voice evac (25 and 70 volt systems). For voice evacuation, the panel will sometimes have a fire phone. This panel was introduced in about 1996, and was discontinued on March 31st, 2024. It was replaced with the EST4, which was introduced in 2019.

History of the EST3
No real changes were made until about 2011-12 when the logo was changed to the GE EST logo. The screen would also change to blue. In 2013, the logo was changed again and can come with a blue or green screen.
