The Glenora Building is a building located at 12845 102 Ave NW, Edmonton, Alberta. It originally opened in 1967 as the Provincial Museum of Alberta. It was then expanded in the 1970s, and became the Royal Alberta Museum in 2005. The museum closed in 2015, and was moved to the new location. This building has been vacant since, and the fire alarm system was upgraded in the 1990s.

FACP[edit | edit source]
The building is protected by a Notifier AM2020 hybrid-addressable fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown. The addressable portion of the system runs Notifier’s CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding is likely continuous.
Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]
Most notification appliances are Wheelock MB-G10-24 motor bells (10” gong). Some of these are mounted behind grills.
There is an Edwards MB10-24 motor bell (10” gong) in the Wild Alberta gallery as a deficiency replacement.

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]
All pull stations are Honeywell FM950-E conventional single-action pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]
There are Notifier CPX-551A addressable ionization smoke detectors throughout the building.
There are Notifier FDX-551RA addressable 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors in the gift shop and likely in other areas.
All aforementioned detectors are mounted on Notifier BX501 bases.
There are FDD CR-135 conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors in the cafeteria.
