Nakiska is a ski resort located at 2 Mount Allan Drive, in Kananaskis, Alberta, Canada. This page will cover the main daylodge, which was built in 1985 and opened in 1986. The fire alarm system is partially original, and devices have been replaced as deficiencies occur.

FACP
The building is protected by a Mircom Series FA-1000 conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located at the main entrance, and is in the original Edwards Custom 6500 cabinet. The system coding is likely temporal.
The Series 1000 replaced the original Edwards Custom 6500 in 2007.
Notification Appliances
All notification appliances are Edwards 881-D remote horns (red, flush-mount).
Initiating Devices
Pull Stations
All pull stations but one are Edwards 274-111 conventional single-action pull stations.
There is an Edwards 270-SPOB conventional single-action pull station by the lockers as a deficiency replacement.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are System Sensor 1400A conventional ionization smoke detectors throughout most areas.
Some areas have System Sensor C2W-BA conventional photoelectric smoke detectors as deficiency replacements.
