The Pontiac Silverdome was an indoor domed stadium located at 1200 Featherstone Road, in Pontiac, Michigan, USA. The stadium was home to the NFL’s Detroit Lions until the opening of Ford Field in 2002. The stadium was built in 1975, was renovated in the 2000s, was closed in 2013, and was demolished in 2018. The fire alarm system was upgraded in the late 2000s.
