Spring Hill Station is a WMATA train station located at 1576 Spring Hill Road, in Tysons, Virginia, USA. The station was built in 2014, and the fire alarm system is original.

System Specifications[edit | edit source]

FACP[edit | edit source]

The station is protected by an ADT EST3 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the fire equipment room. The system runs ADT’s Signature addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice evacuation. The evacuation signal is slow whoop, followed by the default EST3 message.

Annunciators[edit | edit source]

There is an ADT EST3-LCDANN annunciator in the station manager’s office.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

Most notification appliances are System Sensor “SpectrAlert Advance” SPCWK weatherproof speaker/strobes (red, ceiling-mount, set to 70V).
Areas requiring additional audible coverage have System Sensor SCRK weatherproof remote speakers (red, ceiling-mount, set to 70V).
The platform area has System Sensor SRK weatherproof remote strobes (red, wall-mount) and Atlas AP-15TU remote speakers.

There are ADT ADT-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors in all elevator lobbies, mounted on EST SIGA-SB bases.
