Terrasses Dominicianes is a building located at 1465 Bd du Carmel, in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada. The building was completed in 1931, was converted in 1976, and was majorly renovated in 2005. The fire alarm system was mostly upgraded in 2005, with parts ranging from 1976 to present.

The building is protected by an EST QuickStart QS4 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in a small room in the basement. The system runs EST’s Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

The basement has one Cerberus Pyrotronics BDC-624C vibrating bell (6” gong).

Horns

There are Edwards “Integrity” 757-1A-T remote horns (red, wall-mount) in most areas, and Pyrene 960-2000 remote horns in some areas.

Each suite has an Edwards 683-1C silenceable mini-horns (white) in each suite.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are EST SIGA-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors in most areas.

The patient rooms and nurse stations EST SIGA-IPHS 4D multisensor smoke/heat detectors in some areas.

Other areas have EST SIGA-HRS addressable fixed/rate-of-rise heat detectors.

All detectors are mounted on EST SIGA-SB bases.

There are EST “SuperDuct” SIGA-SD addressable duct smoke detectors on all air handling units.

There are System Sensor 5601A conventional 135°F fixed-temperature heat detectors in one room, wired to EST SIGA-CT1 addressable monitor modules.

Modules

There are EST SIGA-CT1 and EST SIGA-CT2 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system’s tamper and flow switches.
