Virginia Square-GMU Station is a WMATA train station located at 3600 Fairfax Dr, Arlington County, VA. The station was built in 1979, and the fire alarm system was upgraded in the 2010s.

System Specifications (2010s-present)[edit | edit source]

FACP[edit | edit source]

The station is protected by an ADT EST3 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the fire equipment room. The system runs ADT’s Signature addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice evacuation. The evacuation signal is a custom message; the system does not have an evacuation tone.

There is an ADT EST3-LCDANN annunciator in the station manager’s office.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All system audio goes through the station’s public address system; there are no dedicated notification appliances on this system.
