Walmart Supercentre is a chain of hypermarkets headquartered in Bentonville, Arkansas, USA. This particular store is located at 2901 13 Ave, Wainwright, AB. The store opened in 2007, and the fire alarm system is original aside from a panel replacement.

The building is protected by an Edwards iO1000 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system runs Edwards’ Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
The iO1000 replaced the original EST QuickStart QS1 in the early 2020s.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]
Most notification appliances are Edwards “Genesis” G1R-HDVM horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, no marking, set to 15cd).
There are Edwards G1R-VM remote strobes (red, wall-mount, no marking, set to 15cd) in the washrooms and in the main storefront.
Throughout the store, the devices are mounted on poles, with 2 horn/strobes and 2 remote strobes facing opposite each other.
