11810-11860 Sarcee Trail NW is a medium-large sized plaza in the Beacon Hill Shopping Centre, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This plaza consists of Best Buy, Family Braces, Dollarama, Carter's/Oshkosh, South St. Burger Co, Children's Place, Aldo, Le Chateau, La Vie En Rose, and The Brick. The plaza opened in 2008, and the fire alarm system is mostly original, with a panel replacement in 2018.

FACP[edit | edit source]
The building is protected by a Simplex 4007ES addressable fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown. The system runs Simplex's IDNet addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
This panel replaced a Simplex 4010 in 2018.
Annunciators[edit | edit source]
There is a Simplex 4606-9202 (red) color touchscreen annunciator at the Best Buy entrance.
It replaced the original Simplex 4606-9101 LCD annunciator in 2018.
Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]
All indoor notification appliances are from Simplex's "TrueAlert" line of products. All areas except Dollarama have Simplex 4906-9127 horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).
The Dollarama has Simplex 4906-9128 horn/strobes (red, ceiling-mount, set to 15cd), installed in 2020 when the store opened.
For outdoor notification, there are two System Sensor "SpectrAlert Advance" P2RKA weatherproof horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 75cd) outside the building.

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]
All pull stations are Simplex 4099-9001 addressable single-action pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]
There are Simplex "TrueAlarm" 4098-9714 addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the building, mounted on Simplex 4098-9792 addressable bases. There is also a sprinkler system with waterflow protection.
Modules[edit | edit source]
There are Simplex 4090-9001 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system's tamper and flow switches.
EOLs[edit | edit source]
There are Simplex 2081-9040C end of line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
