Ranchlands Square is a shopping plaza located at 735 Ranchlands Blvd, Calgary, AB. This page will cover unit #19, which consists of Calgary North West Constituency Office, Danscott Dance Studio, Kain Der Yah, Karachi Foods YYC and the Lunch Lady. It is the only building with a fire alarm system. It was built in 1989, and the fire alarm system is mostly original, with parts replaced as deficiencies occur.

FACP[edit | edit source]
The building is protected by a Mircom FA-1025T conventional fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown, and the model is unconfirmed. The system coding is likely temporal.
This panel likely replaced an Edwards 2280 in the 2000s.
Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]
All notification appliances are Edwards 439D-6AWC vibrating bells (6” gong).
Initiating Devices[edit | edit source]
Pull Stations[edit | edit source]
Most pull stations are Edwards 270-SPO conventional single-action pull stations.
There is a Mircom MS-401 in Danscott installed as a deficiency replacement.
Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]
There are likely Edwards 281C 135-degree fixed temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors in the kitchens of each restaurant.
