The plaza consists of Babies “R” Us, Sofa Land, Konto Furniture, Crystal Glass Canada (located at 9717 21 Ave NW). The plaza was originally built as Walmart in 1998, and was converted to multiple tenants in 2007. The fire alarm system is mostly original.

The building is protected by an Edwards EST3 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the sprinkler room. The system runs EST’s Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
The EST3 replaced an Edwards EST2 in 2007.
Annunciators[edit | edit source]
There is an Edwards EST3-LCDANN annunciator in the Babies “R” Us entrance vestibule, fitted with the LCDXL1 display.

All notification appliances are EST “Integrity” 757-5A-T horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, 15cd).
For exterior notification, there is an Edwards CS405-7A-T weatherproof remote strobe (red, 15/75cd) outside the sprinkler room.

There are EST SIGA-WTM and SIGA-CT1 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system’s tamper and flow switches.
