FACP[edit | edit source]
The building is protected by an Edwards EST3 addressable fire alarm system. This is a networked system with several nodes; the main node is located in the CACF room on the main floor. The system runs Edwards’ Signature addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice evacuation. The system is configured for two-stage operation; the alert signal is a 20BPM tone, and the alarm signal is a temporal bell tone. There are custom messages for each stage.

Most notification appliances are Edwards 964-1A-8RW remote speakers (white, ceiling-mount, 25V).
Some areas have Edwards 964-5A-8RW speaker/strobes (white, ceiling-mount, 25V, 15cd).
The stairwells have Mirtone 25002405 remote speakers (white, wall-mount, 25V).

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]
All pull stations are EST SIGA-270P addressable two-stage single-action pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]
There are EST SIGA-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors in some areas such as the top of each stairwell.
There are EST SIGA-HRS addressable 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors in the telephone and electrical rooms on each floor.
All aforementioned detectors are mounted on EST SIGA-SB bases.
There are EST SIGA-DH duct detector housings with SIGA-PS heads on some air handling units.

There are EST SIGA-CT1 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system’s tamper and flow switches.
There are EST SIGA-CR addressable relay modules for elevator recall and other purposes.
Firefighter’s Telephones[edit | edit source]
There are Mirtone QSP-330C firefighter telephones on each floor.
EOLs[edit | edit source]
There are Edwards EOL-P1 end of line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
