Addison Road Station is a WMATA train station located at 100 Addison Rd S, in Capitol Heights, Maryland, USA. The station was built in 1980, and the fire alarm system was upgraded in 2018.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by an ADT EST3 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is likely located in the fire equipment room. The system runs ADT’s Signature addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice evacuation. The evacuation signal is slow whoop followed by the default EST message.

There is an ADT EST3-LCDANN annunciator in the station manager’s office.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

Most areas have a mix of Edwards “Genesis” WG4WF-SVMC weatherproof speaker/strobes (white, set to 70V) and Edwards WG4RF-SVMC weatherproof speaker/strobes (red, set to 70V).
Areas requiring additional visual coverage have a mix of Edwards WG4WF-S weatherproof remote speakers (white, set to 70V) and Edwards WG4RF-S weatherproof remote speakers (red, set to 70V).
The platform area has Edwards CS405-7A-T weatherproof remote strobes (red, wall-mount, 15/75cd).
Some areas have HyperSpike TCPA-10 high-output speakers.
