Anacostia Station is a WMATA train station located at 1101 Howard Rd SE, in Washington, District of Columbia, USA. The station was built in 1991, and the fire alarm system was upgraded in 2018.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by an ADT EST3 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the fire equipment room. The system runs ADT’s Signature addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice evacuation. The system plays a prerecorded message, with no evacuation tone.

Annunciators[edit | edit source]

There is an ADT EST3-LCDANN annunciator in the station manager’s office.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All system messages are broadcast through the station’s public address system; there are no dedicated notification appliances on this system.
