Anderson Station is a light rail transit station located at 11015 Anderson Station Way Southwest, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It was originally constructed in 1981, and served as the southern terminus of the Red Line (201) until the opening of Fish Creek-Lacombe Station in 2001. The station building was reconstructed in 2018, and the fire alarm system is original to the 2018 building.

FACP[edit | edit source]
The building is protected by a Simplex 4007ES addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in an electrical room below the South entrance. The system runs Simplex's IDNet addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
Annunciators[edit | edit source]
There is a Simplex 4606-9202 annunciator (red) at the main entrance.
Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]
All notification appliances are Simplex "TrueAlert" 4906-9129 horn/strobes (white, wall-mount, set to 15cd). Many are mounted on the ceiling, although some are wall-mounted.

All pull stations are Simplex 4099-9004 addressable single-action pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]
Some areas have Simplex "TrueAlarm" 4098-9714 addressable photoelectric smoke detectors, mounted on Simplex 4098-9792 addressable bases.

There are Simplex 2081-9040C end of line resistor plates on all signal circuits.
