Astoria Hotel is a 2-star hotel located at 404 Connaught Dr in Jasper, AB. The hotel was built in 1925, and was renovated in 1995 which also added the De'd Dog Bar & Grill. The fire alarm system was upgraded in 2015.

FACP[edit | edit source]
The hotel is protected by a Mircom FA-1000 conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main lobby, next to the doors to De'd Dog Bar & Grill. The system coding is most likely temporal.
The FA-1000 replaced a Mirtone 7800 in 2015.
Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]
All notification appliances except one are Mirtone 74306 vibrating bells (10" gong). These were left over from the previous system.
In the De'd Dog Bar & Grill, there are Wheelock MBS-G10-24 motor bell/strobes (10" gong, 1.5cd), installed in 1995.

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]
All pull stations are Mircom MS-401 conventional pull stations. These were installed in 2015 along with the FA-1000, despite it being conventional.
Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]
All smoke detectors are Mircom MIR-1400A 2-wire ionization smoke detectors. There is one FDD CR135 fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detector in De'd Dog.

The hotel was protected by a Mirtone 7800 conventional fire alarm system. The panel was located in the main lobby. The system coding was continuous.

The notification appliances were the Mirtone 74306 vibrating bells and Wheelock MBS-G10-24 motor bell/strobe that are still installed.

The pull stations were mostly Mirtone 73303 conventional pull stations.
There was a Notifier NFM-950B in the De'd Dog Bar & Grill.

The smoke detectors were all System Sensor 1412A 2-wire ionization smoke detectors.
