Avenida Place is a shopping area located in the Lake Bonavista neighborhood of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This page will cover Building 600, located at 12101 Lake Fraser Drive Southeast. The building consists of Ricky’s All Day Grill, Sun Sational Nails, Fish Tales Fly Shop, WOW Chicken, Calgary Optometry Centre, and several vacant units. The building opened in 2000, and the fire alarm system is mostly original.

FACP[edit | edit source]
The building is protected by a Notifier NFS-320C addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main electrical room. The system runs Notifier’s CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
This panel was installed in 2023 replacing a Notifier AFP-200 due to button issues on the panel.
Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]
Most notification appliances are System Sensor “SpectrAlert” P2415A horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, 15cd).
Renovated units have System Sensor "L-Series" P2RLA horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, bilingual lettering, set to 15cd). These can also be found in some areas as deficiency replacements.

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]
Most pull stations are Grinnell MS-401GR conventional single-action pull stations (some Tyco/Grinnell MS-401).
Some areas have Notifier MPS-950B conventional single-action pull stations as deficiency replacements. All stations have Notifier MMX-101A addressable monitor modules attached to them.
Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]
There are Notifier FSP-951A-IV addressable photoelectric smoke detectors in Calgary Optometry Centre, mounted on System Sensor B300A-6-IV bases.
Modules[edit | edit source]
There are Notifier FMM-101A addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system’s tamper and flow switches.
EOLs[edit | edit source]
There are Notifier EOL-CR end of line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
