The building is protected by an EST FireShield FS1004G conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system coding is temporal.

All notification appliances are EST "Genesis" G1R-HDVM horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, no lettering, set to 15cd).

All pull stations are Edwards 270-SPO conventional single-action pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]
There are System Sensor C2W-BA conventional photoelectric smoke detectors in all washrooms and at the top of every stairwell. There are System Sensor 5601A conventional fixed/rate-of-rise heat detectors in some areas. These were installed in 2022 replacing recalled Edwards detectors (C2M-PD photoelectric smoke detectors and 281B-PL rate-of-rise/fixed heat detectors).
