Canadian National Railway is a railway company headquartered in Montreal, Quebec. This page will cover the Calgary Intermodal Office, located at 250050 Lantz Way, in Conrich, Alberta, Canada. The building was built in 2012, and the fire alarm system is mostly original.

System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by a Siemens Cerberus Pro Fire Safety Modular addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system runs Siemens' FirePrint addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
This panel was originally a Siemens FireFinder XLS, and was fitted with a Cerberus Pro upgrade kit in the 2020s.

Notification Appliances

Most notification appliances are Siemens ZH-MC-R-B horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, bilingual lettering, set to 15cd).
The shop area has Siemens AS-HMC-R-WP-B weatherproof horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, bilingual lettering); one is also installed outside the main entrance.

Pull Stations

All pull stations but one are Siemens HMS-S addressable single-action pull stations.
There is one Siemens HMS-SA addressable single-action pull station in the shop area.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are Siemens HTRI-D and HTRI-S addressable monitor modules supervising the pre-action system, and the sprinkler system's tamper and flow switches.
There are Siemens HTRI-R addressable relay modules for door release.

EOLs

There are Siemens EL-300C end of line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
