The Calgary Dream Centre is a rehab facility located at 4510 Macleod Trail SW, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The building was built in 1972 as a hotel, though sources are inconclusive of the hotel's name. The facility was converted into the Dream Centre in 2004, and the fire alarm system was upgraded during the conversion; the FACP was replaced in 2024.
System Specifications (2004-present)
FACP
The building is protected by an Edwards iO1000 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main electrical/mechanical room. The system runs Edwards' Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
This panel replaced an EST QuickStart QS1.
Annunciators
There is an Edwards RLCD-C annunciator behind the main reception.
Booster Panels
There are Edwards BPS6A 6-amp booster power supplies in the laundry rooms on the second, fourth and sixth floors.
Notification Appliances
All common areas have EST "Genesis" G1R-HOV15 horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, no marking, 15cd).
All suites but two have Edwards 683-1C silenceable mini-horns (white) paired with EST G1R-V15 remote strobes (red, wall-mount, no marking, 15cd).
One suite has a Potter HPS-24 silenceable mini-horn (red), while another has a Mircom MH-S25WA silenceable mini-horn (white); both are deficiency replacements, original strobes remain.

There are EST SIGA-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors in all upper floor corridors, with Edwards SIGA-PD addressable photoelectric smoke detectors installed as deficiency replacements.
There are EST SIGA-HRS addressable 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors in the penthouse, plus all mechanical, janitor and electrical rooms.
All aforementioned detectors are mounted on EST SIGA-SB bases.
There is an EST "SuperDuct" SIGA-SD addressable photoelectric duct smoke detector on the penthouse supply air duct.
Modules
There are EST SIGA-WTM addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system's tamper and flow switches.
There is an EST SIGA-CT1 addressable monitor module supervising the kitchen suppression system.
There are EST SIGA-CR addressable relay modules serving various purposes.
There are EST SIGA-IM addressable isolator modules on the SLC.
