Canyon Meadows Golf & Country Club is a golf course located at 12501 14 St SW, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This page will cover the main clubhouse building, which is the only building with a fire alarm system. The building was built in 1956, and was expanded in 1988. The fire alarm system was upgraded in the 1980s, with a partial upgrade occurring in 2012. Portions of the restaurant have been renovated in the 2020s, and new devices were installed in those areas.

FACP
The building is protected by an EST QuickStart QSC conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in the admin entrance vestibule. The system coding is temporal.
This panel replaced a Mirtone 7800.
Notification Appliances
Most notification appliances are Edwards “Genesis” G1R-HDVM horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, no marking, set to 15cd) mounted on Edwards G1TR trim plates.
Renovated areas have Edwards G1AVRF horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, FIRE marking, set to 15cd).
Initiating Devices
Pull Stations
Most pull stations are Mirtone 73201 conventional dual-action pull stations.
Some areas have Mircom MS-401 conventional single-action pull stations as deficiency replacements.
Renovated areas have Edwards 270-SPO conventional single-action pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are System Sensor C2W-BA conventional photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the admin area and at the top of each stairwell.
There are Mirtone 73320 conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors in most non-public rooms; System Sensor 5601A conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors are also present as deficiency replacements.
There are Mircom TD-135 conventional 135°F fixed-temperature heat detectors in one storage room and in the beer cooler.
There are two Edwards 6260A-CU duct smoke detector housings equipped with Edwards EC30DU-3 addressable photoelectric heads on the furnaces.
Modules
There is an EST ZR8 relay card in the main FACP for fan shutdown.
EOLs
There are Edwards EOL-P1 end of line resistor plates on all circuits.
