Cave and Basin National Historic Site is a tourist destination at 311 Cave Ave, Banff, Alberta. It houses an interpretive centre, walking trails, a large outdoor pool (seasonal), and a small cave with a pond, which is the only remaining habitat for the Banff Springs snail. Sources contradict each other, but the building is presumed to have opened between 1885 and 1916, and has seen several renovations over the years. The fire alarm system was replaced in the late 2000s.
