The City of Calgary Water Centre is an office building located at 651 25 Avenue SE, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The building was built in 2008, and the fire alarm system is mostly original.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by an Edwards EST3X addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main electrical room. The system runs Edwards’ Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Annunciators[edit | edit source]

There is an Edwards RLCD-C annunciator paired with an EST RLED24 annunciator in the main entrance vestibule. Both annunciators are mounted in an EST RA-ENC2 enclosure.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

Most notification appliances are Edwards “Genesis” G1-HDVM horn/strobes (white, wall-mount, no marking, set to 15cd).

Some areas have Edwards G1AVWF horn/strobes (white, wall-mount, set to 15cd) as deficiency replacements.

All pull stations are EST SIGA-270 addressable single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

There are EST SIGA-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors in most areas, mounted on EST SIGA-SB bases.

Modules[edit | edit source]

There are EST SIGA-CT1 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system's tamper and flow switches.

There are EST SIGA-CR addressable relay modules serving various purposes.

EOLs[edit | edit source]

There are Edwards EOL-P1 end of line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
