DoubleTree by Hilton is a chain of mid range hotels owned by Hilton. The chain is headquartered in McLean, VA, and has locations globally. This particular hotel is located at 2120 16 Ave NE, Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The hotel was originally built in 1956, and was majorly expanded in 1975. The fire alarm system was mostly upgraded in 1989 and 2008.

FACP

The building is protected by a Simplex 4100ES addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main electrical room. The system runs Simplex's IDNet addressable protocol, and is configured for two-stage operation. The alert signal coding is 20BPM, followed by a temporal alarm signal. <br. The 4100ES replaced a Simplex 4100U in 2018, which replaced a Simplex 4100+.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances are Simplex "TrueAlert" 49CMT-WRF multi-tone horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to various candelas and 500Hz horn), installed in 2018.

Most pull stations are Simplex 2099-9905 conventional two-stage pull stations.
There are Simplex 2099-9288C conventional two-stage pull stations installed as deficiency replacements.
Some areas have Simplex 4251-40 conventional two-stage pull stations, installed in 1975.
There are Simplex 4099-9004CA addressable two-stage pull stations in the basement.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are Simplex 2098-9130 conventional ionization smoke detectors in the corridors.
The lobby has System Sensor 1400A conventional ionization smoke detectors; these can be found as deficiency replacements on some floors.
There are Simplex "TrueAlarm" 4098-9601 conventional photoelectric smoke detectors as deficiency replacements.
Other areas have System Sensor "i3" C2W-BA conventional photoelectric smoke detectors as deficiency replacements.
The 6th floor has a Simplex 4098-5603 conventional photoelectric smoke detector as a deficiency replacement.
Some electrical rooms and the staff kitchen have Potter CR-135W conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors.

Modules

There are Simplex 4090-9002 addressable relay modules serving various purposes.
There are Simplex 4090-9116 isolator modules on the SLC.
