Downtown Largo Station is a WMATA train station located at 9000 Lottsford Road, in Largo, Maryland, USA. The station was built in 2004, and the fire alarm system was upgraded in the 2010s.

System Specifications (2004-present)

FACP

The station is protected by an ADT EST3 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the fire equipment room. The system runs ADT’s Signature addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice evacuation. The evacuation signal is slow whoop with the default EST3 voice message.

Annunciators

There is an ADT EST3-LCDANN annunciator in the station manager’s office.

Notification Appliances

Most notification appliances are a mix of Edwards “Genesis” WG4WF-SVMC weatherproof speaker/strobes (white, set to 70V) and Edwards WG4RF-SVMC weatherproof speaker/strobes (red, set to 70V).
Areas requiring additional audible coverage have a mix of Edwards WG4WF-S weatherproof remote speakers (white, set to 70V) and Edwards WG4RF-S weatherproof remote speakers (red, set to 70V).
The platform area has Edwards CS405-7A-T weatherproof remote strobes (red, 15/75cd).
Some areas have Hyperspike TCPA-10 high-output speakers.
