Duffield School is a K-9 school located at 1 Main Street, in Duffield, Alberta, Canada. The school is part of the Parkland School Division. The school was built in 1954, and was expanded in 1963, 1988 and 2005. The fire alarm system was upgraded in 2004, and was fully replaced in 2025. This page will showcase both the current and 2004 systems.

FACP

The building is protected by a Notifier NFS2-640C addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system runs Notifier's FlashScan addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

All indoor notification appliances are System Sensor "L-Series" P2RLED-B horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, bilingual lettering, set to 15cd).
For outdoor notification, there is a System Sensor "SpectrAlert Advance" P2RKA weatherproof horn/strobe (red, wall-mount) outside the main entrance.

All pull stations are Notifier NBG-12LX addressable dual-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are Notifier FSP-951A addressable photoelectric smoke detectors in some areas.

All aforementioned detectors are mounted on System Sensor B300A-6 bases.
