The Eastlink Centre is a large recreation centre located at 10 Knowledge Way, Grande Prairie, Alberta. The facility houses a fitness centre, a full aquatic centre with diving boards and waterslides, a lazy river, an indoor waterpark, and several multipurpose rooms. The centre opened in 2011, and retains its original fire alarm system.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by an Edwards EST3 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located at one of the entrances. The system runs Edwards' Signature addressable protocol, and is configured for two-stage operation. Alert signal coding is 20BPM, followed by temporal for the alarm signal.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All notification appliances are EST “Genesis” G1-HDVM horn/strobes (white, wall-mount, no marking, set to 15cd)

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]

All pull stations are EST SIGA-270P addressable two-stage single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

There are EST SIGA-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the building, mounted on SIGA-SB bases.

Modules[edit | edit source]

There are EST SIGA-CT1 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system's tamper and flow switches
There are EST SIGA-CR addressable relay modules serving various purposes.
Each NAC has an EST “SignalMaster” G1M signal control module to allow 4-wire operation for two-stage.

EOLs[edit | edit source]

There are Edwards EOL-P1 end-of-line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
