System Specifications (2015-present)
FACP
The building is protected by a Notifier NFS2-3030C addressable fire alarm system. The panel is is located in the CACF room, adjacent to the security desk on the first floor. The system runs Notifier’s FlashScan addressable protocol, and is equipped with Notifier’s Digital Voice Command (DVC) voice evacuation system. The system is configured for two-stage operation, however the messages and/or tones are unknown at this time.
Notification Appliances
Most notification appliances are Soundolier UHT70C-U51-8 remote speakers (white, ceiling-mount, 8” round).
Areas with low ceilings have Edwards 964-1A-4RW remote speakers (white, ceiling-mount, 4” round). The Edwards speakers are also wall-mounted in some areas.
Initiating Devices
Pull Stations
All pull stations are Notifier MPS-950KB conventional single-action pull stations, wired to Notifier FMM-101A addressable monitor modules (2 per station).
Automatic Detection Devices
There are Notifier FST-851RA addressable 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors in the elevator pit, and in the mechanical and janitor rooms on each floor.
There are Notifier FSP-851A addressable photoelectric smoke detectors at the top of each stairwell, in the telephone rooms on each floor, and in some other areas.
All aforementioned detectors are mounted on Notifier B710LPA bases.
There is a System Sensor DNRA duct smoke detector housing equipped with a Notifier FSP-851A addressable photoelectric head on the rooftop air handling unit.
Modules
There are Notifier FMM-1A addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system's tamper and flow swtiches.
There are Notifier FRM-1A addressable relay modules serving various purposes.
There are System Sensor M500XA isolator modules on all SLCs.
EOLs
There are Notifier EOL-CR end of line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
