The Forest Lawn Community & Neighborhood Services is a building providing community social-development services and youth-justice probation, located at 3810 17 Ave SE, Calgary, AB. It was built in 1979, and the fire alarm system was upgraded in 2015.

FACP[edit | edit source]
The building is protected by a Mircom FX-2000 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system runs Mircom’s CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]
Most notification appliances are System Sensor "SpectrAlert Advance" PC2RA horn/strobes (red, ceiling-mount, set to 15cd.)
Some areas have System Sensor P2RA horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).
For outdoor notification, there is a System Sensor SCRKA weatherproof remote strobe (red, ceiling-mount) outside the main entrance.

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]
All pull stations are Mircom MS-401AD addressable single-action pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]
There are Mircom MIX-2251APA addressable photoelectric smoke detectors at the top of each stairwell, mounted on System Sensor B200SRA sounder bases.
There are Mircom MIX-5251RAPA addressable 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors in most rooms.
There are Mircom MIX-5251APA addressable 135°F fixed-temperature heat detectors in the first floor washrooms.
All heat detectors are mounted on System Sensor B210LPA bases.
Modules[edit | edit source]
There are Mircom MIX-M500RAPA addressable relay modules for HVAC shutdown and BMS signal.
There are System Sensor M500XA isolator modules on the SLC.
There is a System Sensor MDL synchronization module to synchronize the horn/strobes.
