The Hose & Hound Neighborhood Pub is a firehouse-themed pub located at 1028 9 Ave SE, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The building was built in 1919 as Calgary Fire Department Station 3, and was converted into a pub in 1981. The fire alarm system was upgraded in 1981, with additional replacement parts installed as deficiencies occur.

The building is protected by a Mircom FA-1025T conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in the utility room. The system coding is temporal.
This panel replaced an Edwards 2280 in the 2000s.

There is a Mircom RA-105 annunciator in the main entrance vestibule.

There are three notification appliances in the building: an Edwards "Durabel" 6100D vibrating bell (6" gong) in the kitchen hall, an Edwards 439D-6AWC vibrating bell (6" gong) in the second floor dining area, and a Mircom BL-6A motor bell (6" GONG) in the kitchen.

Most pull stations are Edwards 274-111 conventional single-action pull stations.
There are two Edwards 270-SPO conventional single-action pull stations as deficiency replacements. There is a Mircom MS-401 conventional single-action pull station at the main entrance, and a Pyrene 950-1000M conventional single-action pull station at the washroom exit, both as deficiency replacements.

There are Potter CR-135W conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors throughout most areas.
There are FDD CR-135 conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors in the kitchen prep area and server room.
There is an Edwards 283B-PL conventional 135°F fixed-temperature heat detector in the kitchen above the pizza oven.
There is a System Sensor 5601A conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detector in the janitor closet.
There is a Mircom TD-135 conventional 135°F fixed-temperature heat detector in the utility room.
