Iron Mountain is a corporation specializing in confidential disposal. This page will cover the Northwest Edmonton facility, located at 12860 184 St NW, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The building was built in 2012, and the fire alarm system was upgraded in 2014.

FACP

The building is protected by a Notifier NFS-320C addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the receiving area. The system runs Notifier’s CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal. The system is also programmed for audible silence.


Booster Panels

There is a Notifier FCPS-24S8C 8-amp booster power supply on the third floor.


Notification Appliances

Most notification appliances are System Sensor “SpectrAlert Advance” P2RA horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).
Newly added rack areas have System Sensor “L-Series” P2RLA horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, bilingual lettering, set to 15cd).


Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

Most pull stations are Notifier MPS-950B conventional single-action pull stations, wired to Notifier FMM-101A addressable monitor modules.
The rack areas have Notifier NBG-12LX addressable dual-action pull stations.


Automatic Detection Devices

There are Notifier FSI-851A addressable ionization smoke detectors in the office area, front reception area, and in one washroom.
There is a Notifier FAPT-851A addressable multisensor detector in the communications room.
All aforementioned detectors are mounted on Notifier B710LPA bases.
There are VESDA aspirating smoke detection systems protecting some areas.


Modules

There are Notifier FMM-1A addressable monitor modules supervising the fire pump’s run/trouble contacts, and the sprinkler system’s tamper and flow switches.
There are Notifier FMM-101A addressable monitor modules supervising the VESDA systems, and monitoring various additional devices.


EOLs

There are a mix of Notifier EOL-CR and EOL-CW end of line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
