Iron Mountain is a chain of secure information specialists. This page will cover the South Edmonton warehouse, located at 3905 101 St NW, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The building was built in 1969, and the fire alarm system was upgraded in 2001.

System Specifications (2001-present)

FACP

The building is protected by a Notifier AFP-400 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the rear entrance vestibule, and is used for both standard fire protection and pre-action suppression. The system runs Notifier's CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Notification Appliances

Base Building

All notification appliances are System Sensor "SpectrAlert" P2415A horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, 15cd).

Pre-Action

All audible notification appliances are a mix of Amseco BZ-54VL4 and Cerberus Pyrotronics HDC-24M motor horns (red).
All visual notification appliances are Honeywell SC807B1027 remote strobes (red, wall-mount, 1.5cd, rebranded Wheelock WST-24).

All pull stations are Notifier NBG-12LX addressable dual-action pull stations.

Pre-Action

All pull stations are Cerberus Pyrotronics MH-501 conventional single-action pull stations, wired to Notifier MMX-101A addressable monitor modules.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are Notifier FSI-751A addressable ionization smoke detectors wired to the pre-action system, mounted on Notifier B710LPA bases.

Modules

There are Notifier MMX-1A addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system's tamper and flow switches.
There are Notifier CMX-2A addressable relay/control modules serving various purposes, both as relay and control modules.
There are Notifier ISO-XA isolator modules on the SLC.

EOLs

There are Notifier EOL-CR end of line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
