Jasper One Eleven is a 16-story apartment complex located at 11020 Jasper Ave, Edmonton, AB, with businesses on the main floor. It was built in 1982, and the fire alarm system is mostly original, with parts replaced as deficiencies occur. The main floor was redone in 2021, and was upgraded to addressable.

System Specifications (1982-present)

FACP

The building is protected by a Notifier NFS2-3030C hybrid-addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main electrical room. The system runs Notifier's FlashScan addressable protocol, and is equipped with Notifier's "Digital Voice Command" (DVC) voice evacuation system. The evacuation signal is a temporal tone, followed by the default female Notifier message.
This panel was installed in 2008, replacing a Notifier AM2020.

Annunciators

There is a Notifier CAB-C3 cabinet with a Notifier LCD-160 annunciator, multiple Notifier ACM-24AT annunciators, an RM-1 microphone and FHS firefighter’s telephone in the main entrance vestibule, installed in 2021.

Booster Panels

There is a Notifier PSE-10C 10-amp booster power supply in the main electrical room.
There is a Honeywell HPF-PS10C 10-amp booster power supply at the O2's rear exit.

Main Floor

Most notification appliances are a mix of System Sensor "L-Series" SPSRLA and SPSRLA-E speaker/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 70V/15cd).
The lobby has System Sensor SPSCWLA speaker/strobes (white, ceiling-mount, set to 70V/15cd).
There is a System Sensor SPSWLA speaker/strobe (white, wall-mount, set to 70V/15cd) in the future pharmacy.
There is a System Sensor SWLA remote strobe (white, wall-mount, set to 15cd) in the lunchroom washroom.
There are System Sensor SWLED-B remote strobes (white, wall-mount, set to 15cd) in the O2's Lounge washrooms and lounge area.
There are Mircom FS-400-WW remote strobes (white, wall-mount, set to 15cd) in the Flurries washrooms.

Floors 2-Penthouse

Most notification appliances are System Sensor "SpectrAlert Advance" SPCWVA remote speakers (white, ceiling-mount, set to 70V).
The stairwells, weight room and penthouse have Mircom QSB-8ST remote speakers (white, 70V, 8" round).
There is an Edwards 965-1A-8RW remote speaker (white, 70V, 8" round) on the 12th floor north stair as a deficiency replacement.
There are Mircom SP-108-70 remote speakers (white, 70V, 8" round) in the 3rd and 6th floor south stairwell as deficiency replacements.

Parkade

Most notification appliances are Audiotrak KP-85TP paging horns.
Level P3 has Bogen SPT15A paging horns.

Pull Stations

Most pull stations are Sentron 73303 conventional single-action pull stations.
The parkade and west roof access have Electro-Vox FM-950 conventional single-action pull stations.
There are a mix of Notifier MPS-950B, Edwards 270-SPO, Mircom MS-401, EST SIGA-270 (converted), and Fire-Lite MPS-950BF conventional single-action pull stations as deficiency replacements.
The main floor has Notifier NBG-12LX addressable dual-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are System Sensor C2W-BA conventional photoelectric smoke detectors throughout all upper floors.
There are System Sensor 1400A conventional ionization smoke detectors in the west parkade stairwell.
There are Notifier FSP-951A addressable photoelectric smoke detectors in the main floor elevator lobby and one service corridor.
There are FDD CR-135 and Sentron 320 conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors in most electrical, janitor, laundry and garbage rooms.
There are Mirtone 73340 conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors in one entrance and in some laundry rooms.
