The Kilmorey Lodge is a hotel located at 117 Evergreen Ave, in Waterton Park, Alberta, Canada. The lodge was originally built in 1926, and was destroyed in a fire in 2009. This page will cover the replacement building, built in 2022. The fire alarm system is original.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by a Simplex 4007ES addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system runs Simplex’s IDNet addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

Most common areas have Simplex “TrueAlert” 4906-9128 horn/strobes (red, ceiling-mount, set to 15cd).
All other areas, including guest rooms, have Simplex 4906-9127 horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).

All pull stations are Simplex 4099-9004 addressable single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

There are Simplex “TrueAlarm” 4098-9714 addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout all areas, including guest rooms, mounted on Simplex 4098-9792 bases.

Modules[edit | edit source]

There are Simplex 4090-9001 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system’s tamper and flow switches.
There are Simplex 4090-9002 addressable relay modules serving various purposes.
There are Simplex 4090-9116 addressable isolator modules on the SLC.

There are Simplex 2081-9040C end of line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
