Lakeland Mall is a shopping mall located at 4420 Railway Avenue, in Vermilion, Alberta, Canada. The mall was built in 1982, and the fire alarm system was partially upgraded in the 2010s.

System Specifications (2010s-present)

FACP

The building is protected by a Kidde VS4 conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in the west entrance vestibule. The panel is equipped with two Kidde RZI16-2 zone cards to accommodate the conventional devices. The system coding is likely continuous.
This panel replaced an Edwards Custom 6500 around 2021.

Annunciators

There is a Kidde K-RLCD-C annunciator paired with a Kidde K-RLED24 annunciator in the main entrance vestibule.
Both annunciators are mounted in a Kidde RA-ENC2 enclosure.

Notification Appliances

Most notification appliances are Edwards "Durabel" 6100D vibrating bells (10" gong).
There are Edwards 439D-10AWC vibrating bells (10" gong) in the rear hallway and part of Dollarama as deficiency replacement.
There are Fire-Lite/Notifier MB-G10-24 motor bells (10" gong) in MainStreet Hardware, installed in 1998.
There is an Edwards MB10-24 motor bell (10" gong) in AG Foods as a deficiency replacement.

Some areas have Edwards 270-SPO conventional single-action pull stations.

There is a System Sensor 5601A conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detector in the mechanical room.
There is an Edwards EC30U-3 conventional photoelectric smoke detector in the electrical room.
